Overview

Mechpart offers end-to-end custom plastic injection molding from 50-ton to 1,000-ton clamp force, capable of producing parts from a few grams to 5 kg in shot weight. Our material palette includes engineering thermoplastics (ABS, PC, PA6/PA66, POM, PBT, PPS, PEEK), commodity resins (PP, PE, PS, PVC), and glass-fiber-reinforced grades for structural applications. Mold-flow analysis and in-house tooling design ensure that every mold is optimized for cycle time, part quality, and mold longevity before the first steel chip is cut.

Our injection-molded parts appear in medical-device housings (ISO 13485 clean-room molding available), automotive interior and under-hood components, consumer electronics enclosures, industrial control-panel bezels, and packaging components. We support overmolding, insert molding, two-shot molding, and gas-assist processes for complex multi-material designs that reduce assembly cost and improve product reliability.

Why Mechpart for injection molding? Because we treat molding as an engineering discipline, not a commodity. Our tooling engineers provide a free DFM report within 48 hours of receiving your 3D CAD, identifying wall-thickness issues, sink-mark risks, draft-angle deficiencies, and gate-location optimizations before you spend a dollar. Standard lead time is 3–5 weeks for mold build and sampling, with production MOQs from 500 pieces. PPAP Level 3 documentation, Cpk studies, and IMDS submissions are handled in-house—making us a turnkey supplier for automotive and medical OEMs who can't afford a paperwork bottleneck.

Frequently asked

Do you build the mold too?

Yes — from prototype aluminium tools to hardened production molds rated for 1M+ shots.

What resins can you mold?

Commodity to engineering grades incl. PEEK, PPS and glass-filled nylons.

Can you over-mold onto metal inserts?

Yes — insert and over-molding for bonded plastic-metal and soft-touch parts.

How fast is first article (T1)?

Typically 3–5 weeks for tooling, then T1 samples for approval before production.
